I've been thinking that maybe mirrors are actually interdimensional windows... If the people on the other side are exactly like us, they'd do exactly the same things. If everything is exactly the same, everything would interact in the same ways, thus creating the illusion that it's just looking at us in this world. The only problem is that if you try to catch the reflection off-guard, it'll do the same thing to you. Anybody have any ideas on how to create a difference???
